DETAILED ITINERARY
NIGHT 1 — HANOI → HA GIANG
Overnight Bus Journey
Departure: Hanoi
Arrival in Ha Giang: Approximately 3:00–4:00 AM
Take the overnight bus from Hanoi to Ha Giang. Arrive in Ha Giang City at around 3:00–4:00 AM, where you will be picked up and transferred to the hostel.
Take a shower, rest, and prepare your belongings before beginning the Ha Giang Loop adventure.
At around 8:30 AM, start the journey towards the Dong Van Karst Plateau.
DAY 1 — HA GIANG CITY → QUAN BA → YEN MINH → PHO CAO → SUNG LA → DONG VAN
Ha Giang Loop Adventure
Meals: Breakfast / Lunch / Dinner
Accommodation: Hotel / Homestay in Dong Van
At 8:30 AM, enjoy breakfast before starting the Ha Giang Loop journey. Begin from KM0 in Ha Giang City and ride through Bac Sum Pass towards Quan Ba Heaven Gate.
Stop to admire the famous Quan Ba Twin Mountains and Tam Son Town before continuing through the spectacular mountain landscapes towards Yen Minh.
After passing Can Ty Pass, enjoy several scenic viewpoints including the Lonely Tree and Van Chai Cliff before having lunch in Yen Minh Town.
In the afternoon, continue towards Dong Van through Tham Ma Pass and Pho Cao Village. Explore the beautiful Sung La Valley, visit Lung Cam Cultural Village, Pao's House, the Tam Giac Mach flower fields, and the Moon Rock field in Sa Phin Village.
At around 4:30 PM, visit the Vuong Family Mansion, also known as the H'Mong King's Palace. Discover the unique cultural and architectural influences of H'Mong, French, and Chinese traditions.
At around 6:00 PM, check in and rest. After dinner at around 7:30 PM, enjoy free time to walk around Dong Van Old Town and explore the local street food at the Dong Van Old Town Night Market.
DAY 2 — DONG VAN → MA PI LENG PASS → NHO QUE RIVER → MAU DUE → DU GIA

Accommodation: Local Homestay in Du Gia
At 8:30 AM, after breakfast, continue along the legendary Happiness Road towards Ma Pi Leng Pass and the beautiful Nho Que River.
Stop at the Ma Pi Leng Monument and explore several spectacular viewpoints along the pass, including Death's Snout and Dinosaur's Spine. Walk along the Sky Path and enjoy panoramic views over the dramatic mountain landscape.
Continue with a boat trip on the Nho Que River and discover the spectacular Tu San Canyon, one of the most iconic natural landscapes in Ha Giang.
At around 12:30 PM, have lunch in Meo Vac Town before continuing the journey towards Du Gia through winding mountain roads, endless valleys, and remote landscapes.
Along the way, visit the M Pass shooting location, Mau Due, and Lung Ho before arriving at Du Gia Commune at around 5:00 PM.
Check in at a local homestay in Du Gia Village and enjoy dinner featuring traditional Tay cuisine. In the evening, experience the local atmosphere and try the local corn wine known as “Happy Water”.
DAY 3 — DU GIA → DUONG THUONG → LUNG TAM → QUAN BA → HA GIANG CITY

Accommodation: Hostel / Homestay in Ha Giang before departure
At 8:30 AM, after breakfast, take a walk around Du Gia Village and enjoy time at Du Gia Waterfall before departing for Ha Giang City.
Continue through the beautiful mountain landscapes and stop along the way to admire Duong Thuong Valley and visit Lung Tam Weaving Village.
Discover the traditional weaving culture of the local H'Mong community and experience the peaceful atmosphere of the mountain villages.
Have lunch in Tam Son Town, Quan Ba, before continuing the journey back to Ha Giang City.
Arrive in Ha Giang City at around 4:00 PM. Take a shower and rest at the hostel or homestay before preparing for the overnight bus to Hanoi.
NIGHT 4 — HA GIANG CITY → HANOI
Overnight Bus Journey
Departure: 7:20 PM
Arrival in Hanoi: Approximately 3:00 AM
At 7:20 PM, the bus picks you up from the hostel in Ha Giang City and begins the overnight journey back to Hanoi.
Arrive in Hanoi at approximately 3:00 AM, marking the end of your Special Ha Giang Loop Adventure.
